I used a Lenovo x120e for about 6 mos., I'd put it between a netbook and a subnotebook. It wasn't a very fast machine (AMD E350 dual core/2GB RAM/320GB 5400RPM HD/Win7) but the keyboard was just plain awesome, I could type on that thing all day, something to consider especially in a classroom...

NAV immediately got the boot off my T42p, but the bundled ThinkVantage utilities were actually quite useful. Hopefully Lenovo doesn't start screwing that up by piling on lots of useless crap on their latest machines.
