EDTV kills the deal

Big lots kills the deal. Buy from big lots if you want broken, generic, garbage that works maybe for a few days or maybe just a matter of minutes. Every time I think I'll go back there and try buying something I end up with a bad experience. The last time I went there was this fall, bought a $5 rake.. spent no more than 5 minutes raking my yard, and the damn thing snapped in half.

Fuck Big Lots.

Perhaps you should consider next time that when you pay $5 for a rake, you are going to get a $5 worth of a rake. ;)

I suspect it will look better than standard definition and not as good as high def.

Isn't there a built in technology on HDTVs which prevent the owner from recording movies from pay-per-view channels??
I remember watching a heated debate on television that HDTVs will not allow some stations to be recorded.

Over the next year LCD tvs are expected to drop %30 in price as 8th generation fabrication facilities come up to speed.

Cheap low resolution plasma isn't a good investment

I sorta work at big lots(barely part time). These TV's are new and looked nice, but as everyone has said, its just an EDTV. Min 3 per store, and our store only had 3, so if you wanted one its most likely already too late (ad broke on wed).
