The general vibe I'm getting from the various total war forums seems to be good. Personally, I can't get enough of this game. I would still be playing Rome: Total War if M2:TW wasn't here! They just released a patch which (to me) fixed a lot of major issues. For $25.00, this is definitely worth it!

Says on the back of the box, That I just purchased at the store, Lan play requires network card.

LAN games work just like Rome: Total War, except no AI for multiplayer yet.
