Epson direct has factory refurbished Stylus Photo R340 printers on their site for $69.00. Pretty freaking sweet deal IMO and it includes FREE ground shipping !!

PS - I've bought two of their refurb printers before and have not had a single problem. They both looked brand spankin' new and work perfect and they still include a 1 year warranty. These also directly print on inkjet printable CD's and DVD's.

FYI meritline has third party carts for these printers on the cheap:

Not bad... I went to a bulk ink system on mine. In the long run it's about 1/10th the costs for ink. Picked it up on eBay for under fifty bucks shipped. I do run this printer a lot though. It probably prints at least twenty pages a day. One full fill on the ink tanks is roughly equivalent to I think about 8 sets of ink cartridges and to refill the tanks is is about twenty bucks.

I have one of those bulk tank setups for my Epson 200 but so far haven't used it. Paid $70 dollars of it back when they were just put on eBay.

I can see doing the bulk ink, because you can get quality inks for those systems (and it becomes practical to get a printer profile for the ink/paper combo(s)), but I won't touch cheap clone inks. I mostly use my printer for photos, and the cheap inks are never as good.

What I'd really like is an R800 or one of the wide body printers, but my current printer is good enough for most normal/non-wide photos and the newer wide body printers cost more than I want to spend.

Do they sell these bulk systems for any epson model or is it limited? I haven't seen anything for models made in the last several years (not that I've done an exhaustive search).
