This seems like a great deal for a modular power supply from a good company.

I've heard of problems out of these PSU's but I do believe those were limited to early revisions. I'm biting, I never had any problems out of my 480W Neo.

haha nice. It's definitely not "worth" more than say $75 considering all the other better ones out there but for 50ar, it's a great deal!! For reference, bestbuy is selling these for 170 ;)

Kind of wish it had a big 120/140mm instead of an 80, but I can see the reason for it if anyone were to run two of them stacked or something. Fan is quiet though.

Yup, anything rev A3 made after Nov. 2005 should be A-OK......

That's exactly what I was thinking. Then I thought, this is cheaper before rebates even and I will never notice the difference. I bit.

I have one of these, and bought one for a build for family. They've been solid units. One is running the rig in my sig right now.

EDIT: Just an FYI, the Antec Neo HE 550 is built by Seasonic. Perhaps not to quite as demanding specs as Seasonic's own PSU's, but still pretty good.

Seeing how @ Newegg it's $85 AR and it has 3x +12v @ 18a - I bit :)

That's what I paid and I'd do it again. To the guy who said it's not worth more than $70...find me another sub $100 PSU w/ all the features. Modular, quiet, cool running, stable...it's perfect for single card setups.

It's powering the rig in sig @ 450/3600 right now.

I'll put in my 2c:

This is a great psu and that's a great price for it :) Unless you're crossfiring x1900xt's or running a huge sli setup, this should be more than enough, and modular to boot.

I just fried the Antec 330 in my utility rig and was looking for something to replace it. This is a nice replacement.

I have an old Enlight 250watt powering it now, but since it has a 6600 GT in it, I think it needs more power...lol.

Does anyone have the rebate document? I stupidly didn't save it, and now I'm not able to locate the thing I need to print out.
