So it started at 600 something, then went down to 599, and now went down to 589... I would like to buy one, but at the same time, if prices keep decreasing at this rate, then I would much rather wait.

I'm glad I didn't jump earlier - let's see where prices stabilize

Yeah because an extra $25 would kill you instead of spending the whole month of December enjoying the most fluid frame rates I've ever experienced... ;)

PS - Got mine from Dell. $535 + tax, with free shipping, and got it three weeks ago.

Bye now, back to Battlefield 2142 at 1920x1080x8AAx16AF I go...

Bah...after x4 AA and 8x AF I can't tell the difference.

I play on a 32" LCD TV 1920x1080.

I don't see the need to splurge on a DX10 card until DX10 comes :D

That's great for you. Have fun. I'm waiting because my current card is fine for now and I need to pay for the family's Christmas. It's still tempting though.

you serious???? the ONLY 8800gtx that doesnt have DHCP?? man MSI is really retarded if they didnt put that in their 8800gtx, thats one of the main reasons why ppl want an 8800gtx cuz it can do DX10 plus HDCP...

That makes no sense. Right there, that will kill there sales and MSI would know this. Plus isnt it a 8800 standard that HDCP must be included?

Yes most likely, but check the amperage.

the GTX requires at least 28A, sli double that. They say "450 W" or whatever but the amperage on the 12V rails matters the most.
