Guess the stock was short lived.

I should probably click through the mobile computing forum before asking, but did anyone get this? I don't see many Gateway notebook reviews and im tempted by the price but concerned about quality.

ATI (amd) chipset, Intel CPU.. I would avoid.. Fry's is selling a Toshiba with similar specs and a 15" screen for the same price.. I am avoiding it too. I don't want to get stuck without driver support because AMD has already said they are making no new chipsets for Intel CPUs. This means less engineers on the drivers too as they will be concentrating more on the new AMD chipsets. (and thus backwards support for some of the older ones too)

I bought it, but i got it from Circuit City on tuesday when Vista came out. I dont have a single bad thing to say about it. Its a solid laptop, does everything that i want it to do, and it was cheap :)

I think it came out to ~$640 after taxes, but no shipping since it was a store only deal from Circuit City.

It's available for the same price at Circuit City right now, in store only.

That's assuming it's in stock. :(

They could of been better, but my camera sucks, or maybe its the operator :p
I'm going to be playing somw WoW in the airport tomarrow, should be alot more fun then sitting there staring at the wall like i normally do. I was so surprised how well it ran WoW, even thought its not even close to an intensive game, but it still looks awsome.
