how well does the nvidia 6150 perform in these with bf2/css?

a 6100 does decent in css, so the 6100 should do css. BF2 I don't know about.

Why do all of the cheap laptops have 15.4" screens? Do they all get their screens from the same factory in china?

Thanks for the heads-up I might buy one of these, they're really cheap

Because it is a popular medium sized screen. Most people want 15.4" laptops... hence most laptops are 15.4"

Lots of companies make 15.4" screens... thats why they go into cheap laptops.

i have gfg6150 w/tl-50 taylor (1.6ghz dualcore), 1GB RAM. CSS barely runs, turn off ALL eye candy and it's still sluggish. if you like staticy gameplay, it runs OK. i run with latest driver 93.71 and 87.x official both suck.

q3a runs fine. so game engines pre-Source and post quake3 should run no problem, but Source and afterwards you will run into problems. warcraft3 rocks!!! :D
