Free. Nothin' cold about that. Although from reading reviews, looks like a large number of DOAs, though...users give it 3 out of 5 yellow blobs.

Sample review:
Pros: supports 600dpi printers, stereo headphones
Cons: doesn't heat my coffee fast enough

From the reviews it looks like a piece of crap, and people have had trouble getting the rebate. Not worth it IMO.

ZipZoomfly has it for free after rebate after shipping ($28 - $28 rebate w/free shipping) here. (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=360940&ps=ho2) Newegg charges $6.83 for shipping.

Both rebates are for purchases between 2/5/07 and 2/9/07 despite ZipZoomfly's page stating it expires 2/7/07. That being said, the rebate has quite a few hurdles. Remember to make photocopies (or scan) all relevant docs submitted.

Yeah.. I'd recommend not using this for a system you have invested in..

bought it, havent installed it yet, could care less about the rebate, actually i refuse to do the rebate as a way of thumbing my nose at the concept, i'd rather pay more than jump through hoops to save a buck, if it's really only worth paying shipping, they should have given them away.....yeah yeah...i know, it only benefits the company by not getting my check, but i refuse to play those games, so in my mind, i win no matter what, so long as i dont go through with the rebate process  :D

Between all of the DOA reviews and the first one that states:

"Pros: Refunded me and even gave me xx dollars towards shipping.

Cons: DOA and it fried my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Never buying Coolmax again."

I believe I'll pass. ;)

Yar, I'll stick with my Free AR Ultra 500 PSU. At least I can kill a man with that one in a pinch. ;)

should work fine in an older budget build that will not even come close to stressing it, which is what i got mine for
