Pretty tempting. Apparently the AAKS series has denser platters (meaning fewer?) than the KS series, so it runs quieter and cooler.

extremely tempting, but i'll continue to wait for 7200.10's to go back to 99.

Blah just ordered two 500GBs for $153 at ZZF. Would have opted for this as I could have gotten 200GB more for roughly the same price.

not bad.. about .25 / Gb (seems about the best price you can get lately, although every now and then a .23/Gb deal comes up).. glad it was free shipping

cheapest i saw it for on frugle was 120+10$ shipping (so you save about 30$ at fry's)

I ordered 4 of these a couple weeks ago for a RAID 5.

I've been waiting for the 500GB RE2s to drop in price - but 4 of these in a RAID 5 would only be 300GB less (and ~$250 cheaper).
