Hot for someone whom may be in the market for one of these things. Unfoirtunatly this doesn’t work with my dell axim, and I suppose readyboost is not supported on this thing…

Other then that this is a fairly good deal.

I'd prefer the 8GB model for only $50.

Twice the space+less than twice the cost=[H]ot.

A bit off topic, but something fun to do with cheap 4gb or 8gb CF..

The only upgrade there would be capacity, you wouldn't get faster seek times (no spin up) or shock-proof operation. The drives in question in the thread are the same micro drives that come out of mini iPods, and Creative zen micros. Hot deal though, I think i'm in for an 8.

Awe man, wish I would have seen this sooner. Would have bought an 8gb. Now they are $70. Oh well, the 4gb is still $30, so I bought one.

Got mine in today. I must say, for cameras, this thing is complete garbage. Slower then hell, if I snap 5 pictures in the matter of 10 seconds, it bogs it down so bad I get a "Busy" status and cant do anything with my camera until it finishes writing those pictures to the card. Takes a long time too, upwards of a minute... Formatting seems worse too! It took 5 mins for the card to format a dozen pictures!

"Ultra-fast 3600-RPM drives deliver optimal performance for digital cameras, gaming devices, PDAs and more."

So this is not flash, but a micro drive? Like a hard drive, but smaller? How is that good? Still has the downfalls of a hard drive.

I knew it wasnt going to be as fast as a flash drive, but I didnt think it was going to be even close to as slow as it really is.

I just picked up an 8gb CF to replace my dead zen micro hard drive :p

4 gigs for 30 is nice, but I need at least 6.
