not to kill this deal or anything

but i work for Costco Tech Support... and of course costso is the big vizio dealer

i no lie get 4-5 calls a DAY about these tv's with 90% of them needing to be serviced

just gotta say... you get what you pay for they are cheap cause they are made cheap

r u serious? well i was lookin at Westys too, which should i go for?

personally... although the westy is not one of the major "name" brands... they are working there way up there... (in consumer reports as pretty good "budget" tv)

honestly if you can afford the westy vs the vizio... go for the westy

im not saying all vizio's are crap... im just saying that from the calls i get a lot of them dont work the way they should... be it no picture, no sound, remote sensors not working, large lines across the screen.. those are all calls ive gotten this week about them

but that doesnt mean they are all bad... ive had people call in wich say they bought a hand full of tv's... one guy filled his bar with vizio tv's... 9 out of the 10 he bought worked perfectly

if i could see there anual sales numbers then im sure more work than dont work... you could always pull the triger? and return it if it doesnt work...

ive got vizio hold music stuck in my head for the last 2 monhts :) its only 1 song /repeat

and i really dont mean to kill this deal... just giving everyone a heads up... some of you might own a vizio and it works perfectly from day 1

Ath, costco still has their no questions asked "lifetime" return policy, right?

I'm probably going to trade in my 22" that's been acting quirky for a 1080p display.

I believe the "Abuse it because you can" policy has been changed. They finally caught on to all the fraud that was happening.

I had heard that--but it shouldn't matter if I'm returning the item for technical malfunction (as in my case) should it?

Is there really a time limit on that? I only purchased the monitor less than 4 months ago.

Only for computers I think, which now have a max return policy of 6 months. Everything else is still good.

costco return policy is now 90 days

Anything purchased before then end of january (26th i think) falls under the old policy

and if it was after that and has a mechanical defect... you still have a warranty so call up viziio or who ever to get it fixed

Does Costco price match? I won't purchase anything from Walmart.

Costco's Policy is 90 Day Return on Computers and TV's but they add a second year warranty for free.

I believe this took affect on March 14th. Anything bought before that falls under their old policy.

Currently Sams Club still has the "lifetime" satisfaction gauranteed policy on their TV's.

I bought this TV at costco. It was rated the best 37" budget display I think by pc world.

The HD tuner is strong, 2 HDMI, SD content looks better then it does on my 32" regular sony TV. HD from OTA is fantastic. I dont have HD cable to test anything else.

I've had 2 Vizio TV's and both had to be returned b/c they were broken. Vizo = where refuse mets the trash can. I've had one Westy and it's worked great since day one, never looked back.

I bought a 32" Vizio LCD from costco last July. It's worked great for digital HD cable, high def gaming on xbox, etc. Pics from lower res sources like SD tv or 480p Wii look good too.

No complaints about Vizio at all. Picked up the Vizio cuz the picture looked better than 32" Sony on display right next to it.
