Seems good if you want to use it to start a very basic backup PC.

^^^

Yeah, if you already have an AGP video card and DDR1 memory this isn't a bad deal. The board supports modest overclocking so you should be able to get ~2.4GHz (3700+ rating) out of it.

rings up as 84.99 at checkout for me, anyone else? I'm wanting this, would make a hell of an ubuntu 7 system until the new fedora core is released. I've got a gig for DDR laying here in nothing right now and a spare ATI 9500.

Nice resale value if your not looking to keep it.

$84.99 here too.
Looking to build a cheap system for a client and this would do nicely.
CPU comes up at $25

Yeah it was a price error I bet. I wonder if they'll honor that price for those who ordered?

They had it labeled as 49.99 for 10 minutes before it was changed to what the shopping cart showed. It was actually 79.99 for a minute.

Dammit!

Hmm. Does anyone know if this will be able to decently play 1080p videos?

I don;t see why people would buy single core, when you can get dual core for only $54.

Joe Shmoe internet user doesn't need single core. Realize that other people don't need the speed that some of us do...
