The Twin2X4096-6400C5DHX is a 4096MByte matched pair of DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs built using Corsair's latest high performance heat sink with Dual-Path Heat Xchange (DHX) technology. This part delivers outstanding performance in the latest generation of dual-channel DDR2-based motherboards. It has been tested extensively in multiple DDR2 motherboards to ensure compatibility and performance at its rated speed. This memory has been verified to operate at 800MHz at the low latencies of 5-5-5-18. Corsair's line of 4GB memory kits are designed for PCs featuring 64-bit operating systems. Please note: Installing 4GB onto PCs with 32-bit operating systems is not advised since 32-bit operating systems do not support 4GB of system memory.

* T E S T S P E C S: Each module pair is tested together at 800MHz
* Tested and packaged in pairs
* Packaged together immediately following system test
* Tested at JEDEC standard latency settings (5-5-5-18) at 1.8V

Nice price, too bad the timings weren't tighter, but I bet they'd do 4-4-4-12 @ stock.

For $10 less (AR), Frys has an OCZ package, also PC6400. Timings on it are 5-6-6-15 as opposed to Corsair's 5-5-5-18. The other thing to note is that the OCZ kit requires 2.0v to hit that speed, while the Corsair seems to only require 1.8v.

Dude it is not HOTTER than a bunch of cheerleaders, man there is nothing hotter than a cheerleaders are you nutts. :D

It is only 800mhz DDR2, you can get 1066mhz 4GB for that price. All you got to do is get ready for Hunt. But good deal any way, who needs 2X2GB sticks.

Keep up the good work OP.

These ram are fast, but the height of the DHX cooling can conflict with long video cards / large heatsinks depending on your motherboard layout. I'd recommend going with the OCZ 4GB 6400 Vista kit (5-6-6-18 at 1.8V) instead unless you're sure you've got a lot of headroom over your ram slots.

Picked this up the other day. Reports on Ars and Xtremesystems show 850~890mhz results... for $180, not bad.

Can these run at 1T on i680/i650 boards?
