Did you go to the store to price it? anything ending with .50 cents is national clearance so it should ring up the lower price at the register.

This is common. For example, if the computer says we have 2 of an item, associates are supposed to assume that at least one is damaged (returned, defective, plan return, etc) and one is on display. We still look for it but if there are only two its usually the case.

Be patient with us :D

I went the other day to the Taylor, MI staples, and they had none of the items.

I was at my Staples today and they had the 300gb external for $100. I didn't think it was really worth it since I could make my own and pick the enclosure myself for the same price. They didn't have any of the good deals :(.

The discounts come off as instant discounts upon purchase. It may scan differently for a price check.

The only decent deal I found was an external 400GB drive for $69.99 after rebate. Someone else might have better luck.
