Best Buy has the LG Flatron 24" LCD (Model: L246WP-BN) for $499.99. Picked one up today and with tax it was still way less than Newegg. :)

You can get it even cheaper if you can talk your cashier into accepting the 10%/12% coupon that's floating about....

The general consensus in the [H] Displays subforum is that this unit is one of the best 24" you can get. I believe it's a P-MVA panel or an S-IPS, but I know for sure it's not TN so it's got great viewing angles. :D

Note that the model listed at Best Buy is the L246WP and the one at Newegg is the L245WP - these are both actually the SAME monitor. The bezel and power button design on the monitors differ but that is all, the electronics and panel are exactly the same.

The L246WP with it's fancy triangle shaped power button is meant for brick and mortar retail while the L245WP and it's more plain bezel is meant for online sales (e-tail).
