Because the rebate form isn't from Newegg. I don't see anything on the rebate that specifies where you have to purchase the power supply from so it should work. At the end of the rebate it does say 'valid at participating stores' so I guess they might be able to say that Newegg wasn't a participating store for this offer.

This looks like a great deal to me, I went ahead and bit and bought some fans as well.

I'm going to try to build my first comp over a period of time (paycheck to paycheck [H]ot Deal to [H]ot Deal lol) and this is my first purchase thanks OP. :D

Hard reviewed Silverstone, which they claim make PSUs that Coolermaster rebrands... didn't do so well...
