shipping kinda kills the deal for me. Their cheapest option is $6; making it $2 less than newegg but 2-3x slower. :/

It has only taken me around 4 days max to receive a game from them. They are normally pretty quick.

Yes, the shipping for dirt cheap is $5.99, but if you are buying a couple of the games the shipping stays the same one flat fee if $5.99. I went with the ground option for 5.99 to make sure I have a tracking system on it. Also for many of us this removes taxes to.

How much do you think it costs them for the packaging and shipping? That's still less then the tax I would pay around here. Buy more then one game at a time and you'll save on shipping.

Games don't cost as much for the store as they are sold for, and operating entirely online saves on TONS of costs, employment, advertising (to an extent), facilities fees, reduced returns, etc.


It's just like asking why Newegg can offer parts cheaper than Best Buy, the reduced price is already there for the seller to make profit, by cutting costs and increasing competition the retail price of things usually drops.

Yes, the last few times I ordered from them, it took a full two weeks to get to NY.

Out of lets say 35 to 50 shipments me and my friend have gotten from them only one that was a problem. For the same price I was able to get Fedex ground shipping for 5.99. At least that way you get to know when, and where your package is. Even with dirt cheap it only took at tops 5 days to get to me. On top of that it can even come on Saturday. I trust them they have never done me wrong. Still good prices though.

And it took around 7 days to arrive to Ohio. I guess it's not bad actually.

does that not defeat the whole purpose of buying it on sale, usually the game is $10-$20 off the regular price, so either you pay more for the game with 2nd day shipping, or you save $2-$4 with tax from a retail store and could have the game that day,


ive bought from them several times, and usually gotten my order within a week or less. however its been awhile, my last order shipped on the 29th and its still not here yet. tracking just says it was picked up and thats it. they are great for things your not in a hurry for. if amazon and newegg can offer free shipping a lot, i wish they would to, or least more reasonable speedy shipping. like priority mail or something. never had them lose or get an order wrong. sometimes they give you free junk, like pens, soap, t shirt, or some other gadget. I want the UT3 collectors but its $54.90 plus shipping which is the same if i go pick it up at the local store and id have it today. hoping to score a deal on it, i want the extra content.
