Looks like a great price.

How is OCZ RAM overall? I remember it didn't work in a friends 680i system... but the Crucial Ballistix worked like a charm. Maybe it was just incompatible with 680i chipset?

I'm in for this. Ordered two sets. One from newegg: one from ClubIT. As for OCZ ram, i have two sticks of 667 gold and they work like a charm. Did you check how much voltage was being used by the ram? Often times in my experience with OCZ, most motherboards are defaulted too low to even run the ram correctly. The good thing about OCZ is if you over volt the ram OCZ will cover it. I know. :D Now maybe i can get my q6600 up to 3.2 and maybe higher! Oh and i'm using the 650I chipset so i doubt its the chipset that's causing the problem.

I bit on this one again...I will have two machines running 4gb for about $40 bucks each. Sure beats the hell out of the price this time last year

I couldn't get those same DIMMs to run stable at DDR2-800 speed using 2 sets (1GB x 4) on 2 different 965 motherboards. The heatsinks really make a mess out of cooling the RAM chips. It's a good deal if you only need 2GB, or have a motherboard/extra cooling that can run these at full speed with 2 sets. Good price either way though.

Hmm, anyone else have experiences running 4 gigs together? I was planning on getting 2 from Club IT, and 2 from the egg.

Isn't this the stuff with lots of A+ reviews and lots of F- reviews? Good price, but do your research first. I'm going to stay away from OCZ, though the DDR I had from them kicked butt. They make me nervous now though.

lol, i was going to say the same thing. People lose sight of the big picture much too easily.

Thanks, I'll forego going to 6 GB of RAM and just go back to 4 GB. Too cheap to pass up, and I gotta cut spending on parts. :D

Generally, how quick are they with rebates?Pretty average. I got 2 different OCZ rebates this week. Each came within the time frame listed on the rebate. The most important thing is that it was hassle free.

crucial rebate came faster but ocz rebates were hassle-free.. same as crucial.

I just got my set today! Trying it out as we speak, but I got a BSOD when doing the Windows memory test (Vista experience index test) running with my Ballistix, so I upped the voltage to 1.9 V. I forgot this RAM is rated for 2.1V.
