Yeah, super saver shipping is pretty slow, but it has always arrived just fine for me. Sometimes I've had it arrive before I expected. That's pretty rare though.

amazon's shipping varies so much for me. Their super savers used to still get here in about 4-5 working days, I dunno if its the holidays or what though, its been taking quite a bit longer to for stuff to get here.

They usually give exaggerated ship dates anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if it ships out earlier.

Yep. As long as your purchase date on the invoice is before the 7th and you mail it out by Feb 6th you're set.

I thought everything over $25.00 from Amazon had free shipping.

I don't think 225 after rebate is a good deal, even if below the current market. 2 weeks ago, they were under $200.00 at most places (as low as 160, as I recall). Dell had it for 18x with free 2nd day shipping (no rebate).

Unless you need them right now, I'd wait for another deal. Hell, they may be coming out with a new top end speaker (though I hope not, since I just bought these and Buy.com FINALLY shipped them yesterday after jerking me around for over 2 weeks).

yeah but unless you are an audiophile the z5500 would still be badass over the new system that would cost what maybe $400-500
