Just came back from Microcenter and saw that they have the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 for $189.99 + tax! Picked one up instantly. Don't know if this has been posted before but I decided to give it a shot. Also the Coolermaster CM 690 is there for $20.00 after $40.00 Mail-In-Rebate. Picked up one of these bad boys up too.

I hate how Microcenter does their sales. I live about 300 miles from the closest BB store and they aren't selling them online even close to that price. In fact, they only come in a bundle with a 260 buck markup on the e8400 (and a mobo I dont want). :mad:

ya it's OOS... i've been searching for an e8400 for a few days now.

i think i'm gonna go with mwave and it's only $2 more to upgrade from UPS ground to fedex 2day. I'm gonna jump on it... I can't wait any longer... NewEgg is as usual price raping, so I'm gonna have to settle for mwave.

I woulda done Tankguys over all, but they just went OOS too. :(

that's is a great price for that cm690, funny i just brought one about 2weeks before for 40 after MIR. might i add that i after i installed everything back in, i get 14c to 16c :D lower on cpu and i still havent put in the extra fans.
