Even BETTER $175 PER MODULE (http://shop.kingston.com/partsinfo.asp?promo=PRCGRBR&ktcpartno=KVR667D2Q8F5K2/8G)

Also, if you don't mind generic....(These ARE fb-dimms)

Qimonda $223+ship (http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=D2-6FB4GQ)
Samsung $231+ship (http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=D2-6FB4GS)

$400 Kingston 2 * 4GB fb-dimm best buy for business
Link (http://www.bestbuybusiness.com/bbfb/en/US/adirect/bestbuy?cmd=catProductDetail&showAddButton=true&productID=BB10843388&websrc=FRBB10843388)
"Ships in 1-2 weeks"

Also, before replying "HEY my 2GB ddr2-667/800mhz dimms are only $40, so 4G for $270 is a ripoff", PLEASE understand these are FB-DIMMS. If you do not have a socket 771 board this is not for you, drive through.

This ram is for people who typically have 8+ dimm sockets on their server class motherboard.

Good deal OP, way to look out for the server-class [H].

After the apocalypse, only the admins will have root.

You call Samsung generic, WTF? They are probably one of the largest memory IC players.

I don't think Qimonda is that small either...

Yeah I guess samsung isn't really generic, although I don't nkow if that is "samsung ram" or "Generic with samsung chips". I kind of assumed the second, although I may be wrong. I have never heard of Qimonda
