A more descriptive title would be helpful (i.e. mention the product name and price).

Maybe it would have been more appropriate to state it differently, but the fact is you should always specify the brand and price (and say +S/H or AR, where appropriate.)
If you check everyday, then your post on a slow day isn't a big deal, but some days I log in and there are 2 or more pages of deals....knowing exactly what's inside saves time.
Do that, and nobody will complain...ok some will, but fuckem.

A couple wasted clicks are no big deal, but when I check a handful of deal websites throughout the day, I have found that clear and concise descriptions in the title do save me time overall. If everyone said "Wow! Check out this deal!" in the title, I would be wading through a decent amount of stuff I don't need.
For example, I am not in the market for a video card. I checked this thread out because the "best deal on an 8800GT" could have been for ~50 bucks. Who knows.
People giving him a hard time is just so he doesn't forget next time. They used that technique when I was in the Army. I tell you what, I will NOT forget to make my bed ever again.

Just like he was trying to help, I was trying to help him understand the FAQ (I even linked to it) so he knows for future reference. But he took constructive criticism the wrong way. :(

If you can find one cheaper than this, post it. Until then, this is the cheapest I've seen a BFG 8800 GT OC 512 thus far. They were almost $300 a month ago.

thnx for seeing my side guys. As you can see I post a tonne on this site and have for over a year. This is the first time I have posted in this section. I did over look the fact there is a more efficient way of laying out the info. In future I will try to adhere to the guide lines listed in the FAQ, although they are really more like guidelines than faq's. As in teh best way to layout the info for everyone, not I have this great deal how should I write the thread.
Cheers! :)

Agreed. Now it's $206 USD after mail in rebate. Definitely HOT. Good find, OP.
Does anyone know if NCIX is currently shipping the version with the larger fan?

It would be hard to tell unless someone here has ordered one and knows. I've seen cases where the old product is pictured on the website, but because they have the new stock, they ship the newer revision. I've also seen the opposite, where the new picture is on the web, but they are still shipping the older revision with older packaging. Some retailers don't really have a policy that's revision specific. If it's the right model with the right specs, they have fulfilled their end of the contract.
The best thing to do is probably call and ask them, or send an email. Maybe BFG has different revision numbers for each model....
