Hi folks.

I finally caved in and signed up for google checkout to get my free $10. I signed up, clicked over to Buy.com, picked a product, used their pay-with-google-checkout button..... but the confirm-order-details page showed no mention of $10 off.

What's the dilly-o? Does it become some sort of credit?

I think it has to be an advertised item that qualifies for $10 w/ google checkout. I could be wrong though, anyways, I would also like to know. I usually buy alot of stuff from bodybuilding.com and they have a google checkout payment method, I'm wondering if the google checkout is $10 off provided by google or the merchant.

The first time you use google checkout it should take $10 off, it's not for every time you buy.

That's exactly what didn't happened, actually. I signed up with GC just to get a deal at buy.com, but when I went to check out using GC there was no deduction for the $10
