I see a lot of stuff sometimes where it would be pointless to make a thread in Hot Deals because it either applies to a single store/area, or there is only a single item left to share. At least there is a sub-forum now that I think is more appropriate. I will post in this thread when I find other clearance deals.

My contributions for today, 2/23/08:

At Fry's B&M
Energizer e2 C cell battery 2 pack $0.99
GQ Geode LX1750 (low power Athlon XP) system w/Linspire 5 $59.99
GQ Sempron 3200+ (AM2) system w/Vista Home Basic $149.99 <-- one left on the floor in the Woodland Hills Fry's, is not marked for clearance but the PLU number will ring up $149.99
Orange and some other color electrical tapes $0.10/roll

These prices should apply to at least the LA/OC area, but possibly in other areas too.

Clearance find of the day:

The Woodland Hills Fry's has the Audigy 2 Value (SB0400) in a white box on clearance for $9.90. There are 15 on the shelf when I checked tonight. These tend to sell out quickly.

This is exactly what you get in the box: http://product.expotv.com/5/9/4/59403_150x150.jpg

I bought 3 of these a few weeks ago for the same price and they're definitely worth it, a good step up from on-board audio and i've had no problems with it under Vista x64 with 4GB installed..

I think this is a great idea.....Target has alot of good games go on clearance every Monday and when something doesnt sell that is already on clearance it gets marked down again on the following Monday.(electronics) This how it works here in Fort-Worth.TX, can say what happends in other cities. :)

If you are lucky enough to find any in stock, the Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G (PLU# 5504990) is on clearance at Fry's for $19.90. The next cheapest price at an online store is $80 + shipping, or $90 + shipping at egg when it's in stock.
