Meh. Considering the 8800GTs are outperforming the GTS 640s and are now at sub-200 level, this isn't even lukewarm.

those 650i ultra mobos would be great for people to create boxen for the [H]orde...they overclock very well.

I wonder if I could get more out of my 3600+ with a 590 SLI AM2 board.... only $70....

nah, that tforce 550 should be tapping all it's potential, the only limiting factor would probably be you :p

And the heat. It won't go much past 2.6Ghz without a good amount of voltage, which gets it VERY warm. Besides, my mobo starts flaking out before even 290.

Just ordered the 650i, really can't touch the price. Besides, either its going to work its entire useful life or it will be DOA.... not much of a need for a warranty outside of 90 days, unless you will have it sitting on a shelf for a few months.

Did anyone else notice this... e-GeForce 7800 GS, 256 MB DDR3,EVGA fan, AGP...$109.00???
I'm thinking that's a decent deal. (correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause I'm about to snag one!)

I guess I just sold mine (only used for a week) for $80 to a friend though. Maybe I hsould have asked more, but $80 sounded reasonable to me.

If I don't need top performance? I thought a 7800GT would be about the best performance for AGP, aside from a 7950 (?) and the new HD3850???
It would certainly be an upgrade from a 6800GT OC, right??

Thinking about grabbing one of the motherboards.
-Which one to overclock a quad?
-Is there anything to be concerned about when buying a b-stock board? Are they going to come with all accessories, etc? Is there a higher chance of it being a crappy OCer because presumably, it was returned for a reason?

Yes, perhaps. B-stock or refurbished items tend to come with significantly shorter warranty. If the unit should fail, you won't be covered. However, see my next comment...

In my experience, as a consumer and as a professional electronics technician, items sold after factory refurb. tend to be more reliable.
Most items returned to the factory under warranty undergo full testing of ALL functions before release for resale. This far surpasses any testing of a new item leaving the assembly line. Most new items aren't tested at all leaving the assembly line.
While this may not apply to all manufacturers, a reputable company like EVGA with a great warranty policy and excellent customer service should have no issues with "B"-stock refurbs.
