8800GS for $120 is much better. Pretend 3dfx came back and rereleased the Voodoo5 for some reason at MSRP $500, but one store carried it for $250. Does that make it a hot deal? Hell no.

Where can you get an 8800GS for $120? This is not bad w/o a rebate but I'd splurge another $15 - $16 and get a 9600GT for $159.00+s/h (http://www.motherboardpro.com/PNY-VERTO-GEFORCE-9600GT-512MB-PCI-E-VCG96512GXPB-Video-Cards-p-542.html)

No. Just because something is cheaper than usual, if there are better products at cheaper prices than said product, it is still not a hot deal. It's like those $7000 speaker cables going on sale for $5000 (not that they have, just another example). Good for them, but still not a good deal. Well, anyway, I'm not gonna argue about it. Not my reason for posting here.
