"We're doing something big at Starbucks. Like Venti big. We can't tell you what's going to happen because that'll ruin the surprise. Just come to any U.S. Starbucks on Tuesday, April 8 at noon Eastern / 9 a.m. Pacific, sharp, to celebrate something big."

Perfect timing! On Tuesdays I get out of class at 11:50 and walk to Starbucks since it's in the same building as my 12:30 class. I'll let you guys know what it is from the cafe

Looks like they are launching some new coffee line.

SEATTLE; April 7, 2008
The Proof is in the Cup (http://www.starbucks.com/aboutus/pressdesc.asp?id=855): Starbucks Launches Historic New Pike Place Roast ™
Tomorrow, Starbucks (Nasdaq: SBUX) will launch its much anticipated new everyday brew, Pike Place Roast™, reinventing brewed coffee while implementing new standards for freshness and sustainable coffee sourcing in all Starbucks company-operated stores.

I just got into drinking coffee around six months ago.

I generally brew Starbucks Breakfast Blend at home but lately I've been trying some Chocolate Truffle stuff at Walmart that I grind myself.

Then I had a glass of Folgers at my friend's house.

The Folgers tasted pretty good, a little bland and weak but if I hadn't been drinking Starbucks/Premium Blends this whole time I would've never known.

Reminds me of:

Jules: Mmmm! Goddamn, Jimmie! This is some serious gourmet shit! Me and Vince would be happy with some freeze-dried Taster's Choice, but he springs this serious GOURMET shit on us! What flavor is this?

Jimmy: Knock it off, Julie.

Jules: What?

Jimmy: I don't need you to tell me how fuckin' good my coffee is, ok? I'm the one who buys it. I know how good it is. When Bonnie goes shopping, she buys shit. I buy the gourmet expensive stuff 'cause when I drink it, I wanna taste it. But you know what's on my mind right now? It ain't the coffee in my kitchen. It's the dead [censored for political correctness] in my gararge.

Dunkin Donuts > Starbuck's.

Plus, it's not worth burning the gas to get to nearest Starbuck's when there's a DD about a mile from my house.
