2600+ are pretty near the top of the tbreds :( not worth it imo. if you want a pure 2600+, maybe, but considering how 1700+'s should be able to put out 2600++ speeds at less than half the price...
:D
but you do win in that its the cheapest :D

most 2600+ now are bartons @1.9ghz amd and i dont think amd is going to produce anymore 2600+ tbreds

frys had a deal may still have it i dunno it was last weekend
a 2600+ and a shuttle nforce bored for 139 :) i got one..
need to install it thou

Are you guys talking about any xp2600+ barton or tbred? If so then i count about a dozen pricewatch vendors selling it at $95 or less. The cheapest being this one (http://www.ateck.com/viewItem.asp?idProduct=453056870) at $83 shipped. Funny thing is i live within driving distance of this merchant, maybe i should take a ride and check out their store. Maybe they might go as far as letting me pick cpu steppings (in the future) hmmm

The one on sale is the 266mhz bus 2133.
