I added a couple notebooks for $11.52 to my order, it doesn't look like that coupon works with that deal, when validating, the coupon returns:
(CD06) The coupon 018270204, requires an order total of at least 50.00,. At this time the order total is 11.52. This may be the result of certain product exclusions. Please review the promotion and disclaimer for complete explanation on what the intent of the coupon 018270204, is. If necessary, add more products and try again. Thank you.

If yes then the answer is "it depends" 2 x 256 is better if you're going to stick with 512 megs maximum (2 x allows dual channel to work). If you plan on adding memory down the line then 1 x 512 is better so you can upgrade to 2 x 512 later (once again, to allow dual channel to operate)

or maybe 2 sticks of gig or 4 sticks of 512? or maybe even 4 gig sticks.... ooohhh 4 gigs of RAM.

Hot, I might go for that...and to SJetski, it's probably not good to recommend buying one now and then buying another later...for dual channel, the sticks should be same brand, same CAS, same speed, etc. if you want to run dual channel, grab two of these.
