My first ever computer build...please comment!

An athlon X2 would have been a better choice than the pentium D IMO. Could have kept the memory and video, but CPU and mobo could have been a Biostar Tforce550 and a 3600+ X2. The 3600+ and that board make for a good OCing combo.
 
Something is telling me you are going to make a big mistake and skimp out on the power supply, DON'T for $50 you can get a relativly nice 500w one.

What is your budget anyway?
 
What specific model PSUs are those?

For nearly the same price as the Pentium D 940, you'll get a much better chip with the E4300.
