I'm not sure what fanspeed is, but have you tried speedfan? This should allow you to fine-tune the fans to a desired speed. Also, is the fan set on SmartFan within the BIOS? Have you tried another setting say... Mid - Noise? Though, I doubt this will work since it will probably just go max...
