The slanting design doesn't take it away from the memory on AMD mobos, where mounting it will mean the slant actually takes the heatsink 'up' parallel to the memory, rather than away from it.
And yet this is where such a feature is arguably needed the most considering how close the memory...
This post is about social networking addiction, but I want to comment on the denial games addiction that was mentioned by the OP.
Let's see what an industry-recognised game designer has to say:

Ooh thank you all very much, that's what I'll do then. Mr. Kyle once posted an article when the K8s were beginning to get trumped by the Core 2s that proved that upgrading the CPU at that time didn't have any effect on gameplay. Was just wondering if things had changed with the latest games...
Hi,
So here's what I'm thinking - I'm currently running an old K8 Athlon X2 6400+ at 3.4GHz, with a Geforce 8800GT.
I want to get a GTX 280 wotsit thingy to go with my new 1920x1200 monitor that I plan to get. The question is: will that old CPU, a K8 at 3.4GHz, power that GPU adequately...
Although these cards are suitable for an HTPC, I think a motherboard with the new RS780 chipset from ATI/AMD is way better - almost exactly the same GPU, 64MB of dedicated DDR2 memory for it, but without having to put another card into the case, resulting in less heat and more air-flow - meaning...
Hi,
Looking at the layout of several RD790 boards, it seems that I won't be able to fit my Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme on them without obscuring at least one memory slot.
On my current DFI LanParty nf4 Ultra-D, the heatpipes pass over the nearest memory slot, so I can't fill up all 4 memory...
Hi,
You guys know about the problem that Socket939 CPUs had in that when using all 4 memory slots, you couldn't set the memory timings to 1T, and had to use 2T?
Do AM2 or AM2+ CPUs/motherboards suffer from this problem? i.e. should I be aiming to fill up all 4 slots of memory with 1GB...
Google have made my dreams come true.... I currently have a Sony Ericcson P990i, and Sony recently announced that they'd stop releasing firmware upgrades to it (idiots) because they think "it works well enough". Which is of course nonsense, it's always going into "can't turn off" mode where it...
Makes me wonder if tri-cores will become obsolete to the enthusiast. I could imagine enthusiasts buying tri-cores if they had higher clock speeds (or could overclock more) than quad-cores (I'd certainly consider it), but this utility makes it a moot point - get a quad core, find the best...
