My media pc runs fine with an old PCP&C Silencer (20-pin). Of course that machine doesn't see really heavy loads.

If your rig runs fine then you can probably skip the adapter.
I believe that driver is Windows identifying what architecture the CPU is using. That will be installed when Windows is installed. As others have said, if you can find all of the drivers direct from the hardware manufacturers it should work. You don't need to flash the bios, unless you want to.:D
The silver versions are vinyl dyed by Performance PCs. The Pioneer burners are the only ones that originally come in silver, so they are the same price as the black ones.

The newer P180's have the same wiring holes that the P182 does. The P182 might be wider, I'm not really sure.
I would pick the 620W if you're going with a GTX or Ultra.
I would highly recommend the Z-5500's for gaming. I've never heard that Klipsch system but it probably sounds better than the Logitechs. I don't think it's worth spending the extra money though.
