Sony Vaio Z for sure, will be out in a week or two and is the only option right now. Other possibilities HP Envy 13, Macbook Pro 13 once they update and we see what GPU they come with but who knows when they will update...
If 2100 is your budget i'd definitely go with the Z though, pretty...
That seems like a much more accurate review, they mention alot of the same problems users have been bringing up over in the NBR forums and it seems more accurate in general with regards screen quality etc... Never read their reviews before always just went through their performance database will...
They sure do LOL the forums over there are pretty good if your in the laptop market you can get a pretty good idea of what to expect from the actual user postings in the forums. I don't put much weight in the actual reviews posted by NBR though nor do I with any actual website for the mostpart...
Sorry sweetheart, here you go:
"So for the million dollar question: how do these high-performance parts affect battery life? With the discrete graphics turned off, the 57Wh battery lasted for 4 hours and 25 minutes on our video rundown battery test with brightness to 65 percent. That...
^ Z battery life is 6 hours mate.
Just an update seems theres a seperate thread for problems now, http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=462100

Sorry that you feel that way, I personally happened to be in the market for an ultraportable i.e. small package laptop so i got involved in some of these threads even initially ordering the m11x. It was only later I found out about Sony Z at which point I began to feel some buyers remorse over...
Talk to me in a year when it's available LOL Heard it all before. Microsoft burned alot of bridges with developers in the phone world it will take something quite amazing for them to pull out of the hole they are in. Not saying they won't do it but I am saying i'll believe it when I see it and...

You might be able to find one of the old ones with C2D on ebay or discounted somewhere if anyone still has...
Yea the old one was a little bit thicker so might have been able to fit a standard drive in there, not sure that is why I was wondering. Good move returning it though LOL The new one is way nicer than the old one!
9400 uses the same socket but the cpu in m11x is soldered so can't be replaced, I think they will probably refresh this very soon with i5 though. Probably just trying to get rid of all their old C2D stock of chips first.
Well according to the vids up there, they redesigned every part to make the new Z thinner and lighter. How much was the bluray drive upgrade for your Z?
Nah it's smaller, by comparison you can't even get a dvd drive in other laptops this small let alone a bluray burner LOL The other guys all keep their notebooks small and thin by removing the optical drive altogethor.
