the millisecond difference is soo small between these two displays, you'd have to be "Data" from Star Trek to tell the difference.

sounds like your screensaver could be switching resolutions to one other than what your desktop is setup as. something to check.

From my experience, even turning down the brightness still retains backlight bleeding, perhaps a tiny bit less, but it's still quite there.
