I just purchased a new EVGA 7900 and since this is my first experience with nVidia cards, I was wondering what the best application is for monitoring the card temperature in game. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Arctic Cooling is a good cooling company. They make the best graphics card coolers I know of. Its a good cooler for that card, but if you don't want to void warranty, then don't get it. A good fan control program is SpeedFan. And as others said, you should get a converter and run the fan off the power supply. I've had my own destructive problems with connecting high voltage fans to my mobo connectors.

First thing I would do is check the BIOS, make sure all the settings in there aren't wrong. If that don't help, then I don't know what else you could do. Hope you get your comp going smoothe again, though. :)
