You know I'm thinking of building out a similar setup using the same MoBo. I don't intend to do SLI but I would like to use my old 7900GT to drive a couple additional monitors with my 8800GT pushing a new Dell 24".
The thing is, I noticed that the second PCIe slot is a x16 slot but only...
MCE support 2 HD (Over the Air) and 2 SD tuners. To get more than 2 of either you'll need to put in a little extra effort.
Here's a blog post from one of the Microsoft MCE Dev guys: http://blogs.msdn.com/peterrosser/archive/2006/04/03/MCE_TechTalk_1.aspx It's a great write up on how to get as...

Get the HD-DVR box from Time Warner. There is currently no way to record Pay Cable HD content to a PC. There is an outside chance you might be able to get something going if you get an STB with Firewire, but it's HIGHLY unlikely.
Although I won't be making a purchase until March sometime, I'm almost in the same boat. I've decided to go with DLP or Plasma, if I can find a good/great deal on a plasma bigger than 42". Samsung makes excellent DLPs, and Panasonic Makes Nice Plasmas and pretty good DLPs too.
At anything...
Yep, the problem is the Broadcast Flag itself wasn't struck down. What actually happened is the courts decided that the FCC doesn't have the authority to mandate manufacturers to support the Broadcast Flag.
So basically that just moves the fight to the Legislature. Broadcast Flag supporters...
