I have a Gigabyte GA-965p-ds3 rev1.3 with Windows XP SP2 installed. I recently added a Pioneer S-X360 sound system and hooked it to my computer with the supplied toslink cable.
I tested all speakers with the test tone from the Pioneer remote, so I know all speakers are hooked up correctly...
I'm seeing dicussions of D9 memory being the stuff to have for the new dual core and core 2 duo CPUs. What exactly is D9 memory? How would I know it when I see it? When do I really need it?.
I'm a total n00b at this, but I found a wonderful list of working OC setups for that CPU over in the Intel Processors forum, titled something like "Conroe Overclocking Database". Probably worth a read before going very far. I seem to remember two motherboards dominated the E6300 setups.
