I guess in the store it wasn't that quiet. In my room (if it's quiet) I can hear the noise slightly up to 1 meter in front of the display. I just got my new replacement model and it has the same noise. But it has no dead pixels so I think I'll keep it and live with the noise. Rev...

Yes, R,G,B and white screens can be tested with Eizo's Monitortest utility for example: http://www.eizo.de/pool/files/de/Eizo_Monitortest.zip Or just use an image editor ...

Why not? Or did they wrote somewhere that you have to live with a pink line on this display?

Thanks! (because in the OSD this can't be seen - not even in the advanced OSD) So I guess if my replacement (noisy or not) will be a 2009 model then I have at least a new firmware :)

Maybe not at the moment. But maybe they fix it in the future and then it could be useful to know the revision of the fixed model(s).

Where do you get the firmware number from? SpectraView?
