Well I got a vx2025wm that isn't HDCP compliant and my HD cable box won't send a signal to it.
I have to buy a component to d-sub convertor...hopefully that will work.
So I guess it will only concern you if you plan on playing HD content on the monitor.
Does anybody know if those component to vga (or dvi...doesn't matter) converters/transcoders are any good?

Does NewEgg always charge a restocking fee? I might get the dell 2007fpw if there is no way around this. But I don't want to pay a restocking fee and plus the extra cost of the Dell.
I recently got the ViewSonic vx2025wm monitor. Just now I saw that is not HDCP compliant. When I hooked up the monitor using the dvi port (the monitor only has dvi and d-sub ports) the cable box initially said hdmi not verified...or something along those lines. The cable box works with my normal...

I want to get a new lcd monitor that would also double as a widescreen monitor for watching movies and TVs. The 204B isn't a widescreen monitor but it seems to be wider than other standard monitors...which is a concern I will address later.
For computer and gaming purposes it seems like both...
