Do make sure you still check the prices against Amazon. Just for example, the PSW10 subwoofer - what I understand to be one of their better sellers - is cheaper on Amazon.
edit: but then the PSW125 is a full $150 cheaper than Amazon. Wow.
They're doing it because those 4% of listeners are probably using extremely heavily - maybe 20% of the total listening or more - and it likely screws up their numbers for the purposes of advertising.
But I'm sure some well-meaning internet activists will organize a boycott and force Pandora...
On my Y570, there's something in there that, even once I played with every setting in Windows' Power control panel and the Nvidia control panel, it still would slow down a bit when on battery. Hopefully that's fixed on the Y580, but I won't be too broken up if it's not.
Nvidia and ATI have been doing this with mobile GPUs for the last decade. The M means different performance, so you've got to find benchmarks for that particular card, period.
What pisses me off is what Lenovo/Nvidia did with the Y570 where they used a "GT555M" but it was clocked much slower...
There was a Y580 configured roughly like this on Black Friday at the same price, but I decided not to bite at the time. Did this time - thanks for posting the deal!
Only thing I'm curious about is if you dive into some of the detailed results (like under 3dmark Vantage) notebookcheck.net, I...
I'm fine with appeals to donate as long as it's not making noise, slowing my browser in any way, or blocking the content I want to see, which Wikipedia's not doing. You have to understand that the site actually spends money to deliver to you the content you see and they only survive through...
I have a 660Ti and am finally using Nvidia Surround for a couple of games, but this feature is a pain in the frigging ass to use when back on the Windows Desktop. I have seen articles that show a few desktop management features, but these articles are six months old, and I'm running the latest...
My local Wally World only had $10 "Free Realms" cards, but they are just straight Station Cash and came with 200 points ($12 of points for $10, not quite as good as $20 of points for $15). Worked just fine, bought two and got a total of 7200 points.
Well, I was a little surprised to find that on the MSI 660 when I overclocked it to 1170/7000, MSI Kombustor (which is pretty much Furmark, as it's even made by the same guys) actually did wind up doing basically the same thing as just idling in Heaven Benchmark or that Nvidia "A New Dawn" demo...
My MSI 660Ti PE seems happy with me maxing out the power/voltage setting in MSI Afterburner (+100mv and I think 114% power) along with going to 1170 on the core and 7000 (or 3500, or 1750, depends on what software you ask) on the memory.
I've still got to do an hours-long Kombustor/Furmark...
