Update:
I let the board sit for some days without battery. Did the reboot procedures as suggested... and sata controller is back.
All working again.
Except for the 2 week old SSD, that's toast. Sent it back, got my refund.
Can a bad SSD temporarily disable sata controllers ?

well the thing is its brand new hardware (yeah they selling that old stuff here in Asia) so i would like to know what to send back for replacement. Just 2 weeks old.

I have the same gpu cooler together with an apogee for my cpu. Sitting unused in a box for almost 10 years now. Together with the other parts.
Was thinking about using them again, just not sure if they are still trust worthy cause of the rubber gaskets.

Meanwhile i testet skype on Lubuntu in VB and again on Debian with PA instead of alsa. Works fine on Debian with PA.
On Lubuntu it doesnt work out of the box either even though i installed it from their repos. Works if i switch to PA.

really not much goin on in the browser market. Was trying out maxthon, opera, palemoon compared to firefox....other than the GUI not much difference at all. Nothin loads faster or slower in any of them. Can as well stay with firefox.
