Try fallout 3 or new vegas with a bunch of mods. Both are awesome! The Bioshock trilogy is fairly fun too.

I loved the first, didn't really like 2/3. I think the problem is mainly I liked the RPG aspect of the first. The 2nd two went more FPS. Although they are fun games, idk. We will see what this game is actually about. Chances are I will buy, but maybe not on launch and wait for a massive discount.

You make a valid point. The only difference is that we weren't crammed with a yearly edition of the same game with very minor adjustments and changes to the story. At least there were many variances and different takes on what is a massive amount of content.

GoldenEye brought us the true FPS desire on consoles, then probably Halo furthered on this. Those are in a lot of ways the basis for current FPS multiplayers.

Perfect example is how many games need to be patched launch day.
