if you look around. You can find 4870x2 for cheaper than 4870 512Mb

The 4870x2 is a much better choice. Easier setup, less heat more memory, less pins for PSU

Also, make sure your Sub is somewhere stable. This thing tend to vibrate a lot, so make sure it have good flat ground to sit on.

highly suggest that you mount these on the corners of the ceiling

i920 and 4870x2 is a must have. Also X58 board would be nice
