    AMD, thank you for AM3+

Probably an impossible question to really answer, but I'm wondering if eventually the i3770k would eventually become the cheaper option due to power consumption, would probably take years!

This ended up working perfectly, thanks for the suggestion. Can't believe how long I tried to troubleshoot this problem... thanks again.

    24" Widescreen CRT (FW900) From Ebay arrived,Comments.

Hi, thanks a lot for the reply. The quality of the image on the W2600HP when using the Displayport -> VGA adapter that I currently have is quite blurry and not really acceptable. Would this be improved using a Displayport -> DVI adapter? It's unfortunate that the W2600HP doesn't have HDMI...

    24" Widescreen CRT (FW900) From Ebay arrived,Comments.

So in the end I'm thinking it's a problem with my card ... Windows 7 even says that it isn't Aero compatible, so clearly there is an issue somewhere with the card.

    24" Widescreen CRT (FW900) From Ebay arrived,Comments.

Hi all, still a proud FW900 owner, but have run into an issue with my new install: I've run into a problem trying to run a monitor from my Displayport out on the HD7750. My current configuration: - LG W2600HP running from the DVI out (no issues) - Sony FW900 running from the...

Post your Phenom II and Sempron unlock or failed unlock results here.

I've gotten my board to post and boot windows with my AMD 710 on the Biostar 790GX board. My problem is that once in Windows, there are some graphic artifacts on the screen, and the performance is questionable. I'm wondering if I should bother trying anything else since it boots fine?

    New LG W2600HP 26" S-IPS

There was nothing in the same price range that I could find in Europe, that was anywhere close to this monitor. I'm definitely happy with it and recommend it basically every time I get a chance. As I said above, biggest issue is that the colors are slightly oversaturated, but I can live with it.

Help me please: Canceled 2690WUXi-2 ... what to get now?

With the amount of savings over other 26" ips screens you can get a calibration device which would somewhat help with the gamut and is something that you should have for graphics work anyways. I thought the brightness issue was dealt with in newer revisions.

Help me please: Canceled 2690WUXi-2 ... what to get now?

I'm gonna re-recommend the LG 26" W2600HP-BF. Why don't you look at this one? 26" S-IPS good price low input lag great color and clarity don't see why you wouldn't?

    Weird calibration with Huey

Hmm, there's been quite a few reports of the Huey not calibrating properly becuase of hardware defaults. I'm not sure how much of a point the Huey has for your if you are manually calibrating with NVIDIA's tool afterwards.

Best 26" 1920x1200 monitor with bias towards input lag and viewing angle

One is just the "H" model which is a TN panel. The "HP" model is the IPS panel. I have the HP, it's awesome, period.

Best 26" 1920x1200 monitor with bias towards input lag and viewing angle

Don't know how you can beat the LG W2600HP monitor for the price and quality.

    Turn that X3 720 into a X4 945 BE

My 710 unlocks the 4th core and posts properly. Problem is that once I get into Windows, there's some issues with some graphical bugs as well as performance issues. I'm guessing that the 4th core is a dud? The specific problem is that there is some graphical 'tearing' in XP. The temps are...

    New LG W2600HP 26" S-IPS

This monitor being (apparently) available only in Europe in its IPS form seems to make it one of the best deals on the market. I just picked it up on Thursday, seem to have no dead pixels, and the thing is an absolute beauty. The issues that I currently have with are: - the oversaturation...
