anyone else here with a 4870 that sometimes for no reason spins up the FAN to maximum speed?
it seems to occur everyone now and then for about 1 second - it scares teh shit out of you when your just web surfing.

i only have one major concern - INPUT LAG.
and it doesnt appear to be getting addressed seriously by anyone.

ie. this is part of Nvidia's mandate?
i just bought an ECS 8600GTS+ and it doesnt seem to state HDCP anywhere...
this is quite normal.
what resolution are ur vids?
I know i can never get used to watching standard resolution DVD on the 2405.
even 1080 stuff looks craptastic when viewed like a PC user - gotta sit back.
i have the same PSU.
from what i gather - it is not certified for 8800GTX SLI.
atm it gets the stamp of approval for 8800GTS and 7900GTX SLI
but theres nothign stopping you from whacking 2 8800GTX together to find out if it works.
