Hey all I have a quick query, I always thought that when using CF or SLI with cards with different speeds, the faster one would slow down to match the slow card. I have a TriX 290 running at 1000/1300 and a stock ASUS (with at Gelid Icy Rev 2 cooler) running at 947/1250 in slot 2. I have not...

I cannot get BF4 to run in Crossfire, no matter what I do, crashes at load everytime. Single card it crashes at load often, but is playable. Mantle is much smoother and higher frames for me.

Seems to give me around 10 FPS in single card (my stock 290 is out ATM cos I am putting a Gelid on it this evening). That is with everything maxed, sitting 65-75FPS.

Interesting bit here about the use of these 'dump the heat in the case' type coolers. The Tri-X comes well out on top (yay, that's what I have) http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/r9-290x-case-performance,3710-2.html

Never really seen it on single 280 or 290, but did on my old 580SLI and now my 290 CrossFire. Ah well
