About a week ago I clicked winamp and it said winamp.exe could not be found, etc... I thought it was odd so reinstalled it and tried opening some...
This week's Darwin award goes to me. I just got a new laptop and am using WinXP for the first time. I deleted a bunch of installation packages from the desktop and took the My Computer icon down with them and it's gone completely. How do I get it back?

I played AOE2 religiously, AOE3 sucks. The servers are shit, and down all the time, there's no online ranking system worth anything. It's just selling on reputation I think.

Yup, I think Serbia might have cracked it. I just did a complete format of my system (it was getting all crappy anyway) and so far it seems to be working okay. Probably this post will go and jinx it, but fingers crossed.
I don't know, that wouldn't explain really why my games seem to be working fine? I'm running Prime95 at the moment and I'm going to run memtest86 tomorrow. Thanks.
If it would help, when I go into task manager it shows the CPU usage at 100% for the whole thing before the entire computer dies. Now when I've rebooted it says that the driver I'm using for this graphics card is designed for an older version of Windows (I'm running Windows 2000 Professional)...
