OP needs an update. MS confirmed the price of the series S and Windows Central leaked the X version will be priced at $500.
People talk less about GE Force now because 3rd party publishers forced Nvidia to take away our ability to play games we paid for.
Nvidia firmly proved cloud gaming has...
1. Bitcoin is the go to catch all term. People don't think of them as Cryptocurrencies but as Bitcoin alternatives.
2. They explicitly mention this is for Ethereum mining if you click the link.
You're understanding of cryptocurrencies is limited. They have value precisely because they are...
Ive been frustrated with Intel which is why I've been waiting on Ryzen to get a feel if AMD will offer anythng close enough to being competitive.
AMD has done that so I'll sponsor them with my sorely needed upgrade.
The point of this thread is talk about the displays. Misrepresenting the backlight glow by not adjusting your camera settings is the type of discussion we need because those pictures are trying to add facts to the discussion.
I ordered mine from CDW. The monitor has no issues other than the backlight bleed and even then it's not something I'm going to be picky about because it's nowhere near bad enough to bother me. It looks half as bad as some of the IPS glow pictures posted in this thread.
I found that part strange. I wish someone else did these types of tests or Tech Report did them again with software that pushes storage like the various mods for Skyrim or video editing.
Someone made a post on OCN mentioning Acer already started selling it directly in the US but it became sold out in minutes. Keep your eye out boys.

Guys pcper aren't the only ones seeing ghosting.
So out of 4 displays that could be reviewed 3 of them are showing signs of ghosting. The fourth one is the 29" version of the LG display so it's doubtful it escaped this problem.
Tamlin_WSGF covered 1 and 2 mostly. ULMB is a gsync feature because Nvidia specifically tied the implementation into the gsync module. You can get monitors that have similar functionality as ULMB but right now they are rare. Read this page to learn about the rest...

Custom resolution scaler on the display side instead of the GPU
Choice of having Vsync on or off
Ability to use more than Displayport and doesn't disable audio input over DP
Gsync
No Ghosting
ULMB as an option when playing at...
If I was to guess, the German branch of alternate. The UK branch doesn't have it in stock.
